Warner Bros. Pictures Making Movie Adaptation of “Five Nights At Freddy’s”

The Hollywood Reporter says that the popular survival horror game is getting the movie treatment

Warner Bros. has picked up the rights to Five Nights at Freddy’s, the popular video game series created by Scott Cawthon. The feature adaptation will be produced by Roy Lee of Vertigo Entertainment as well as Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg of KatzSmith Productions.

I haven’t played enough of the game to have any kind of hype for it, but I’m interested in seeing what they can do with the concept. Especially with Seth Grahame-Smith (author of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) attached to the project.

Maybe it’s time I play FNAF again and see what all the fuss is about?
